Cannon Falls Junior Jaci Winchell sets the ball during a match against Zumbrota-Mazeppa.

Cannon Falls Junior Jaci Winchell can’t exactly narrow down when she first started playing volleyball.

Mainly, it’s because she’s always been around practice with her mother being involved with coaching.

The Bombers’ setter has been effective in setting up the team’s offense and is a major part in why the team is undefeated.

Hear from Winchell about her favorite part of playing volleyball, her most memorable match and what her last meal choice would.

Q: Best part of playing volleyball?

JW: Having fun with my teammates and competing.

Q: Most memorable volleyball match?

JW: It definitely was last year when we went to [a fifth set] against Kenyon-Wanamingo and we ended up winning.

Q: What would be three musical artists that you would choose if you were stuck on a desert island?

JW: Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs and Chris Brown.

Q: Last meal choice?

JW: Tater tot hotdish. The vegetables, the meat, the cheese and that tater tots. Everything.

Q: Which super power and why?

JW: To teleport because it’s time consuming to drive everywhere. It would just be nice to be there.
