The Randolph softball team continued their early season dominance with a 9-0 win over Houston on Monday.

As they typically do, the Rockets got off to a quick start, scoring four runs in the first inning.

Senior Morgyn Otte led the team with three hits, including a double and two RBIs. Otte also pitched a complete game, allowing one hit and striking out 13 Hurricane batters.

Since April 16, Otte had allowed only 15 hits across seven starts. During that same stretch, Otte has struck out 70 batters.

Senior Megan Erickson, Senior Meredith Taylor, and Freshman Carly Kimmes each had two hits in the game as well.

The Rockets next game will be on the road against GMLOK at Kingsland High School on Tuesday.
