The Randolph girls basketball team extended their winning streak on Thursday against Maple River, 66-35.

The Rockets have won their last five games in a row, averaging 66 points per game during that stretch.

"The entire team played a great all around game tonight," Rockets Coach Dennis Trom said. "The girls did a fantastic job tonight in our transition offense. Defensively we were better than some of our recent games, but still have room for improvement."

Rockets Senior Megan Erickson led the team in scoring with 21 points. Erickson nearly also grabbed 10 rebounds in the game.

Rockets Sophomore Paige Ford and Senior Meredith Taylor each scored 12 points. Rockets Senior Morgyn Otte added 11 points herself and had eight assists.

The Rockets next game will be on Feb. 16 against Mabel-Canton.
