Cannon Falls had four young weightlifters compete at Youth Weightlifting Nationals in Detroit, Mich., last week. Colton Otto, Clinton Otto, Kallie Otto and Addison Richter all lifted over the course of June 26-28 in the respective weight classes and age divisions.

Colton Otto climbed the podium three times in two lifts and the overall. He took third for bronze in snatch with a 107 kilogram (235-236 pounds) lift, first for gold in clean and jerk with a lift of 136 kilos (299.8 lbs) and then a silver medal in the overall. 

Richter had a shot at bronze in snatch but ended up taking fourth on top of being fourth in the clean and jerk and overall. Clinton had personal records throughout his lifts while Kallie finished in the top-10 of her class and hit a PR in snatch.
