Ricky Arthur “Rick” Bodeker, age 66 of Cannon Falls, died at his home on Friday, June 11, 2021. Rick was born in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Richard and Marion (Wilson) Bodeker. Rick married Connie Lynn Pederson in 1986, making their home in Cannon Falls at Bluff Breeze Farm. In 1995, Rick and Connie started BBF Alpacas, Inc., which they enjoyed for more than 20 years. For the past 37 years, Rick owned and operated Bo-Décor Metal Finishing, Inc. Rick thoroughly enjoyed his family, dogs, alpacas, and farm. His property is a testament to his incredible creativity and desire to work with his hands. Fishing was one of his greatest pleasures. Rick and lifelong fishing partner, Max, hold the 1995 World Walleye Championship title. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Connie; brother, Randy Lowry (Kathleen Carey) Bodeker and family of Eagan. His heart was tender for children and veterans. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to St. Jude Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children, or Take a Vet Fishing organization.
