The Cannon Falls Beacon has a new self-service tool that will make it easier than ever to share your family’s obituary.
The new easy-to-use technology, which you can access at www.cannonfallsbeacon.com/obituaries/, will make it easier to work with funeral homes and help families recognize lost family members.
The new feature creates a superior print layout and design for your obituary and expands visibility of your obituary to our engaged audience on www.cannonfalls.com.
“For families who have just lost a loved one, we want to make sure we create an experience that is easy and that best tells the story of their lost family member,” said Editor Matt Lambert. “Our new self-service tool not only does this for families but also funeral homes who we work with.”
Here’s how it works:
You simply go to www.cannonfallsbeacon.com/obituaries/ where you will find a link to “Add your obituary.” From there, you can:
• Choose the publications: Select the publications in which you'd like to publish your listing, choosing as many(or as few) as you'd like. This allows you to feature your obituary in numerous O’Rourke Media Group publications in Minnesota.
• Choose the Listing Dates: With the publications selected, choose the dates you'd like your listing to be published, setting your time frames for each individual publication.
• Design your listing: Finally, create your listing. Choose the layout that best fits your needs and begin uploading your images and text.
