During their regular meeting on Feb. 16, the Randolph School Board unanimously approved the 2021-2022 school year calendar.
Typically the district decides on the calendar one year at a time, Superintendent Mike Kelley said.
Kelley said the calendar committee tries to not make drastic adjustments to the school year calendar because, personally, and for families, consistency is key.
"I love consistency. I think it's important for our families to have consistency too."
One consistent part of the schedule will be having only one day off for Spring Break.
Randolph School Board Member Heather Siebenaler asked why that's been the district's choice when many other districts have longer Spring Break times.
Kelley said having less days off for Spring Break means they can have graduation the first week of June.
Graduation for the 2021-2022 school year will be June 4.
Kelley also said that snow days will be replaced by distance learning days in the future as well, making sure the students and staff can stay on track and not have any make-up days.
The board's next meeting will be on March 15.
