- Attendance at the President’s Birthday Ball Tuesday evening broke all previous records for that event with about 600 tickets sold. Net proceeds totaled approximately $200 with one-half of this amount going to the national organization and one-half to the county.
- After forty years in the harness and tire business, Hjalmar Olson has just recently sold his share of the business to his partner, Oscar Lindahl, and son, Gordon, who will carry on the business at the Lindahl Tire and Battery Service.
- At a supper given in their honor by the Commercial Club last Wednesday evening, the football team elected Jim Soule to the Captain’s position of the Bombers in 1946.
