Theft

May 21

A theft of packages from a residential front porch in the 500 block of 4th Street S. 

Accident

May 19

A report of a motor vehicle accident at Pendleton Street W. and 5th Street N. A 2016 Nissan driven by David McKinney, 38, of Hastings collided with a 2008 Dodge driven by Zachariah Mulder, 33, of Superior (WI). McKinney was cited for no proof of insurance and inattentive driving.

Theft

May 16

An employee of the Lake Pepin Rest Area, Hwy 61/Florence Township, reported the women’s restroom had toilet paper and a trash can taken over the past three nights. Trash has also been thrown around the restroom (value: $100).

Damage

May 17

Dan Heim reported that a trailer parked at 6th St. SW in Pine Island had damage done to the wiring (value: $150).

May 18

Fong Lor reported that two tents had been pulled out of the ground and that glass in a food display case was broken at the American Veterans Memorial in Cannon Falls Township. No dollar estimate given.
